Amanda Brugel
Pointe Claire, a quiet area situated in The West Island of Montreal is one of those "sleepy" location. It is a part of the island that has been called "the West Island." West Island has a lot of communities. For those who haven't been aware of it frequently confuse it with a separate, west-facing island. Amanda Brugel was born there, but her time in the city wasn't long. Brugel grew on Courtice close to Oshawa within Ontario. Her early ambition was to be a dancer however a rapid growth rate resulted in her outgrowing her dance partner. She admitted in an article written by the Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall and wears heels. As I grew older than my male companions, I quit. Bruce was among the former dancers that turned into acting. Her teacher from high school was the one who pushed her into the right direction. The teacher was the one who encouraged her to try out to play the character of Anne for their school's annual production. The teacher who suggested she pursue a part the school's annual show. A Fine Arts Talent Scholarship led her to York University, where she completed her studies in Theatre and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts in 2000. Over the last 20 years, Brugel's work has been seen on the small and large screen. She gained the most recognition when she landed her role as Rita on the award-winning TV show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the character Rita in the Handmaid's Tale which was produced over the course of ten years.
